Nettle can affect the menstrual cycle. You should be careful about the use of the herb during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Nettle can enhance the effect of the drug diclofenac (Voltaren®), a medicine commonly used for joint and muscle disorders. Although nettle may be beneficial, you should be careful. Contact a health worker with experience with herbs.
